ISGKC Membership Declaration
To become or remain a member of the Islamic Society of Greater Kansas City (ISGKC) and to be eligible for voting privileges, you agree to abide by the ISGKC Bylaws.
1. Membership Dues
Donations cannot be applied toward membership dues; a separate transaction is required. Membership dues are not tax-deductible and are subject to change.
Promotional Rate: Effective immediately until May 31, 2026, membership dues are $1.00 for both Married Couples and Individuals.
Standard Rates: Effective June 1, 2026, dues will return to the standard rates:
$100.00/year for a married couple.
$50.00/year for an individual (18 years or older).
2. Application Policy and Procedure
Submission: New applications and renewals may be submitted online via the ISGKC website or in person.
Payment Method: All applications require a payment method on file (ACH, eCheck, or Credit/Debit card) for automatic renewal. This ensures seamless renewal for subsequent years.
Residency: Applicants must be residents of the Greater Kansas City Area.
Approval: All applications are subject to review and approval by ISGKC Management/BOD.
Auto-Renewal: Exceptions to auto-renewal must be requested in writing within 30 days of the application.
3. Membership Cycles
New Applications: Membership begins on the date of signup and expires on December 31st of that year.
Annual Renewals: After auto-renewal is established, membership dues will be charged automatically during the first week of January each year.
Grace Period: To retain membership privileges and voting eligibility, members must ensure their accounts are in good standing by February 28th of each year.
Member Responsibility: Members must notify ISGKC of any changes to contact or payment information within 30 days of the change.
4. Special Eligibility Exception (2026)
In light of the 2026 membership reset and promotional campaign, a one-time exception has been granted regarding the 12-month membership requirement for nominees. For the current cycle, eligibility will be verified based on the new application process and records from the previous membership list.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation: To cancel a membership, a written request must be sent to ISGKC via email at manager@isgkc.org or by mail to the ISGKC office.
Refunds: All membership dues payments are non-refundable.
