Five Pillars of Islam

I must strive to rectify myself and the people of the whole world. Allah-Willing

Welcome to Faizan-e-Madinah! An Islamic center located in Lynnwood, WA. Here at Faizan-e-Madinah, we believe in fostering a welcoming environment where individuals can deepen their understanding of Islam and build meaningful relationships with one another. Our journey began in 2022 with an Islamic Center and This center quickly became a cornerstone for the local Muslim families. Thanks to their incredible support, our space soon exceeded its capacity, making it clear that a larger facility was needed.

We are dedicated to supporting families and individuals through a wide range of services. These include Daily Congregational Prayers, Quranic Tafseer (Explanation) Sessions, after-school Quran Classes for children, and Quran Classes for adults. Alongside education, we focus on building a strong sense of community through weekly family Congregations, Holy Night events, and short courses and workshops designed specifically for our youth.

One of our greatest achievements is Madrasa-tul-Madinah, to teach the students the proper recitation and memorization of the Quran and Duas.

During the holy month of Ramadan, we bring the community together with frequent informative sessions, nightly prayers, and daily iftar and dinners. These gatherings are an important way to strengthen the bonds within our community and create a sense of belonging for all.

Our efforts don’t stop with Ramadan—we also provide countless meals throughout the year during our holy night events and weekly gatherings. In addition, we offer special Eid day breakfasts. All these services are offered free of charge, reflecting our commitment to supporting and nurturing our community

Faizan-e-Madinah is more than just a masjid—it is a place of faith, learning, and connection. Whether you are seeking knowledge, a deeper connection with Allah, or a welcoming space to find like-minded individuals, we invite you to be part of this ongoing mission. Join us today!

Maktaba-tul-Madinah (Book Store)

One of the most impactful services of Dawat-e-Islami is Maktaba-tul-Madinah, a vibrant initiative dedicated to spreading the light of Islamic teachings. Through the publication and sale of Islamic books and booklets authored by the esteemed Shaykh Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـه and other renowned scholars, Maktaba-tul-Madinah plays a pivotal role in nurturing faith and understanding.

Beyond its treasure of affordable Islamic literature, Maktaba-tul-Madinah offers a variety of Arabic perfumes and elegant clothing for men and children, combining spiritual and practical needs under one roof. These centers are conveniently located and operate after congregational Salah, ensuring accessibility for the community.

Step into Maktaba-tul-Madinah and experience a hub of faith, learning, and excellence—a place where knowledge meets devotion, and every visitor walks away with something that enriches their soul.

Evening Quran Classes

As Muslims, a fundamental requirement of our faith is the love for Allah Almighty and His Beloved Prophet ﷺ. A true reflection of this love is a deep connection with the Holy Quran. The Quran is the Sacred Word of Allah, revealed in the Most Superior Language, in the Most Blessed Month, on the Best Night, to the Greatest Prophet ﷺ. Those who learn and teach it are regarded as the Best among all people.

The Holy Prophet ﷺ said,

‘خَيۡرُكُمۡ مَنۡ تَعَلَّمَ الۡقُرۡاٰنَ وَعَلَّمَه

‘The best person amongst you is the one who learns the Holy Quran, and teaches it to others.’
(Sahih Bukhari, Fadaail-ul-Quran, Hadees 5027)

At Dawat-e-Islami, serving the Holy Quran is our top priority. We are dedicated to spreading the teachings of the Quran through various departments and initiatives, including Madrasa-tul-Madina for boys and girls and Madrasa-tul-Madina for Adults.

In the USA, Dawat-e-Islami offers full-time Hifz-ul-Quran classes, completely free of cost. We have sevaral branches across the country and adding more in the future:

  • Faizan-e-Madinah, Sugar Land, TX
  • Faizan-e-Madinah, Chicago, IL
  • Faizan-e-Madinah, Sacramento, CA (Boys and Girls)
  • Faizan-e-Madinah, Lynnwood, WA - Starting this year

All of our centers also provides free Evening Quran reading classes for boys, girls.

Take advantage of this free opportunity for yourself and your family!

Hifz ul Quran Classes

Memorizing the Holy Quran is one of the most noble and rewarding acts a Muslim can undertake. The Quran, being the ultimate guidance from Allah Almighty, is not merely a book to be read but a Divine Revelation meant to transform hearts and lives. The act of committing the Quran to memory elevates a person in this world and the Hereafter, granting countless spiritual, intellectual, and social benefits.

The status of a Hafiz (one who has memorized the Quran) is unparalleled in Islam.

The Holy Prophet ﷺ said:

خَيۡرُكُمۡ مَنۡ تَعَلَّمَ الۡقُرۡاٰنَ وَعَلَّمَه

The Best person amongst you is the one who learns the Holy Quran, and teaches it to others.
(Sahih Bukhari, Fadaail-ul-Quran, Hadees 5027)

A Hafiz enjoys a special rank in this world and on the Day of Judgment, where they will be asked to recite and ascend ranks in Paradise, with their station determined by the last verse they recite.

The process of memorizing the Quran sharpens the mind and enhances memory, creating a disciplined and focused individual. Beyond intellect, this journey deeply nourishes the soul, bringing one closer to Allah. Each verse memorized brings a profound sense of peace, as the Quran is described as:

وَ نُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْاٰنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٌ وَّ رَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ
And We Send Down in the Qur’aan That is a Cure and Mercy for the Believers. (Isra: 82)

Dawat-e-Islami is passionately committed to empowering hundreds of families in our community with the proper reading and memorization of the Quran. Madrasa-tul-Madinah, a Quran learning department, offers free Hifz and Nazira Quran reading classes. To date, twelve devoted students from the USA, through the department of Madrasa-tul-Madinah, have achieved the remarkable milestone of completely memorizing the Holy Quran. Additionally, hundreds have successfully completed Nazirah Quran.

Weekly Family Gathering

Our weekly gatherings cover a wide array of Islamic subjects, including Quranic exegesis (Tafsir), Hadith studies, Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), and Seerah (the life of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him). This diversity ensures that attendees receive a comprehensive understanding of Islam, catering to different levels of knowledge and interest.

Regular attendance at these gatherings provides an opportunity for spiritual reflection and growth. The teachings and discussions inspire attendees to implement Islamic principles in their daily lives, fostering a closer connection to Allah.

Our weekly family gatherings take place every Friday, held after Isha Salah during the winter months and after Maghrib Salah for the rest of the year. These gatherings provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community and learn Islamic knowledge together. Each session concludes with a family dinner, fostering fellowship and unity. Join us every Friday for these enriching and communal experiences!

Weekly Family gatherings or weekly congregational gatherings organized by Faizan-e-Madinah are pivotal in fostering a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings and promoting spiritual growth among Muslims. These gatherings, known as Ijtima, provide a structured platform for learning, reflection, and community engagement. By exploring various Islamic topics, participants gain insights into their faith, strengthen their religious identity, and cultivate a sense of unity. This essay examines the significance of these weekly gatherings and their role in disseminating Islamic knowledge.
