Islamic Association of Mid-Cities 2025 Fundraising Campaign: $250,000 Goal
The Islamic Association of Mid-Cities (IAMC) aims to raise $250,000 to cover its 2025 operational expenses. This fund includes expenses for utilities, salaries, programs, securities and for maintenance. This goal excludes costs for Ramadan iftars and zakat distribution, which will be funded separately through specific donations. In 2024, IAMC raised $128,000 through Annual Fund Raising campaign, falling short and using reserves. This year, the community targets the full $250,000 to keep the masjid running without cuts.
“The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day…” (Surah At-Tawbah, 9:18).
“The most beloved places to Allah are the mosques” (Sahih Muslim).
“And whatever you spend of a thing in Allah’s cause, He will replace it” (Surah Saba, 34:39),
“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise” (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim), so we are urging everyone to open their heart and wallet to contribute generously.
The $250,000 ensures the masjid stays open for daily prayers, Jumu’ah, and weekend school—no staff layoffs, no dark prayer halls. Ramadan iftars and zakat will rely on separate Ramadan-specific drives, keeping this fund focused. The community’s effort reflects the hadith: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity” (Tirmidhi)—a practical step to uphold Allah’s house in Colleyville.
So, Dear Community, let’s come together in the spirit of generosity and support our community. Please consider opening your wallets and donating to the masjid to help maintain and grow this vital space for worship and unity. Every contribution counts—may Allah reward you abundantly for your kindness! Ameen!
It's Virtual Fund Raising Campaign and Insha Allah, on Wednesday, March 26, (night of 27th Ramadan) we will do it in masjid after Community Iftar.
