For over 30 years, Al-Hedayah Academy in Fort Worth, Texas has served as a cornerstone of Islamic education, worship, and community development for Muslim families across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Established in 1992 as the first Islamic school in DFW, Al-Hedayah has served generations of students and families, and now we’re working to build the next chapter of that legacy.

Alhamdulilah, DFW is home to over 500,000 Muslims and continues to grow rapidly. The need for strong Islamic education and community spaces has never been greater.

Our Phase 1 Priorities

1) Reopen the full-time Islamic school
Our goal is to bring back full time Islamic education in a way that feels strong, supportive, and rooted in the Quran and Sunnah, so our children can grow with faith, confidence, and a clear Muslim identity.

2) Expand the campus and prepare the land for the future
A- Hedayah has purchased 5.2 acres next to our campus, paid in full. This phase focuses on expanding the campus and completing the essential engineering and site development needed to prepare the land for what comes next, including more parking and the core infrastructure work such as utilities, drainage, lighting, fencing, walkways, and fire lanes. This preparation is what will allow us to move forward with future school buildings, community facilities, and endowment projects that support Al-Hedayah for generations, inshaAllah.

Why it matters

This is about giving our children a place where Islam is not something they visit once a week, but something they live and grow with every day. It is also about creating space for our community to gather, pray, learn, and feel at home.

Every prayer prayed here, every child who learns here, and every family that finds community here is part of the reward of sadaqah jariyah. By reopening the full time school and expanding the campus, we are investing in the next generation and laying the foundation for Al Hedayah to grow and serve for years to come, inshaAllah.
