Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. In these blessed days and nights of Ramadan—the month of the Qur'an and unmatched Rahmah (mercy)—we turn our hearts toward the house of Allah. The United Muslim Masjid is the Markaz for our community, a sanctuary where we find Sakina (tranquility) and a place where the Dhikr of Allah never ceases.
To ensure our Masjid remains a pillar of the Haqq (truth) and a home for the believers, we have set a goal of $100,000. This is an invitation to secure your Sadaqah Jariyah—the ongoing charity that continues to weigh heavy on your scales long after you have returned to your Lord.
Your Infaq (spending in the way of Allah) will directly fund:
- The Tarbiyah (Nurturing, Mentoring & Development of Character) of our Youth: Strengthening the Iman of the next generation through expanded educational programs.
- Khidmatul-Ummah (Service to the Community): Increasing our reach to the Fuqara (poor) and Masakin (needy) in our local neighborhood.
- Maintaining the House of Allah: Ensuring the physical space of UMM is preserved for Salah, I’tikaf, ta’leem and communal worship for years to come.
The Prophet (ﷺ) was the most generous of people, and he was even more generous in Ramadan. Do not let these virtuous nights pass without leaving a mark. Whether you give a small Hadiya or a major contribution, remember the promise of Allah: "Whatever you spend in charity, He will compensate it" (Saba 34:39).
