Introduction To Alimah Academy & Fundraising
Assalamu alaikum, dear brothers and sisters,
We come to you with a heartfelt appeal in the spirit of unity and progress. We have embarked on a remarkable journey towards the empowerment of our young generation and the preservation of our cherished traditions and values. With your support, we can continue this noble mission and build a brighter future for our community.
At 704 Doblin, a place we acquired with the blessings of Allah Almighty, we envisioned a center of excellence dedicated to educational purposes. With unwavering determination and the grace of Allah, we have successfully paid nearly 90% of the entire Karze Hasna (loan) and transformed the facility into a place that can accommodate a substantial number of students. We have always shared our dreams and aspirations with you, our beloved community, since the very inception of this project.
Alhamdulillah, this year marked the beginning of our Alima Academy, offering an intensive 6 to 7-year course. We made a conscious choice to focus on the Alima course over primary education for several reasons. We recognize the pressing need to provide our girls with a secure and nurturing environment where they can receive a religious, spiritual, and enlightened education. Our goal is to instill in them the teachings and values of our pious predecessors, preparing them to be assets in the development of our next generation (Ummah), alongside their academic pursuits.
However, the reality is that the fees we currently receive, combined with what parents can afford, fall short by nearly 50% of the funds required to run the Academy effectively. This deficit amounts to approximately 36,000 to 40,000 per year, and it will only grow as our student body expands. As is the nature of all new projects, our Academy requires support during its developmental phase before it becomes self-sufficient.
We firmly believe that Allah has provided us with a dedicated team and a supportive organization, working tirelessly alongside the Muhammadi Masjid faculties and teaching staff to achieve our goals. We continuously add experienced and specialized professionals to our team, ensuring we consistently pursue excellence in every aspect of our mission.
As we move forward, we aspire to achieve even higher goals. We plan to introduce different programs soon, responding to our community's changing needs, but only if they are financially and logistically feasible. We promise to keep you informed of any such endeavors well in advance and seek your valuable support and guidance.
