Sadaqah Jaariya Opportunity! Help Establish the First Masjid in Secaucus
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.” [Bukhari]
Help establish the first masjid in Secaucus! Please give generously in order to secure a permanent space for our growing community. May Allah accept your donations as Sadaqah Jaariya. We invite you to be part of this project and contribute towards a prayer spot in the Secaucus Masjid for yourself or a loved one!
The Present Situation
We are currently renting a temporary space at the Veterans of Foreign Wars building in Secaucus for Friday prayers through His blessing and mercy. Alhamdulillah, we are at/overcapacity most Fridays and the storage, set-up and takedown of the carpets and other arrangements would not be possible without the considerable effort of our dedicated volunteers, as depicted below. Masha'Allah parking is limited given the growing size of our congregation, which is an additional consideration for the permanent space we are seeking with His permission.
The Proposed Project
Sites are actively being identified, with one particularly promising location in Secaucus currently being negotiated. However, a sizable downpayment is required so that the building may be secured with halal financing. Through Allah's help, the Secaucus community may be able to secure a new masjid prior to Ramadan (with His permission)!

Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He will multiply it for him and he will have a noble reward? [Quran 57:11 ]
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (continuing charity), knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him” [Muslim]
