Assalamualaikum.

Al Salam Day School is a faith based Islamic School serving the greater St Louis community. We offer services from infant care through high school and currently have over 400 students spread across three different campuses.

Alhamdulillah the school has been serving the community for 30 years. We have grown year after year, alhamdulillah. By the blessing of Allah swt and support from the community we are able to sustain this growth. All this has been possible with the passion, dedication and hardwork of our teachers, our non-teaching staff and the school leadership.

With this Pandemic, we have had to close the school and migrate to e-learning. Alhamdulillah, the teachers did a tremendous job successfully pivoting their teaching methods; now we are witnessing that hard work come to fruition as our students reach the end of the year without losing out on their educations.

In contrast, we had to close our Early Childhood Center because we could not have such small children using an e-learning platform. This resulted in a huge revenue loss for the school.

Our teachers are our greatest assets, and we have mutually invested our time in strengthening each other. Our commitment to the teachers is absolute, and we decided that we will continue to pay them during these difficult times even after massive revenue losses.

So we need your support. Our financial stability depends on this fundraiser. Your donations are Zakat eligible as they will be covering the tuition for families who need significant support and are in need of financial assistance. In turn, this tuition will help us to continue to maintain the quality education that the students are receiving from our devoted teachers.
