As you may be aware, we have an unexpected emergency at the Islamic Center requiring the power to be shutdown and we are running on a generator until the replacement equipment arrives and we can fix the problem. In the past year we had other significant maintenance expenses such as the water pumps replacement, HVAC replacement in the Gym area etc. 

Also earlier this year we completed the construction of the Community Center in the lower level of the school wing of the building. This space offers several amenities particularly for our sisters. This project was completed at a cost of $2million thanks to your generous donations, and money loaned from some individuals and funds saved for designated projects. 

We need your help to not only pay towards these debts, but also raise enough money to sustain ourselves this coming year. As part of our Annual Fundraising, we are hoping to get 1000 of us to donate $1000 each. You donate at once or over the course of the year.

We recognize it may be a steep amount for some, but we ask that still help by reaching out to others in this community and beyond to help us reach this goal.
