Assalamu Alaikum Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As we find ourselves in the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah, a period of immense blessings and opportunities for ajr (reward), we are reminded of the importance of righteous deeds. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days." (Hadith | Sahih al-Bukhari).
The Day of Arafah, in particular, is a day of great significance, where Allah (SWT) completed His favors upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and perfected Islam as our way of life. Whether performing Hajj or at home, it is a time for sincere du’a and seeking Allah’s forgiveness. The Prophet (peace be upon him) also said, "There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the day of Arafah." (Hadith | Muslim).
In these days, we at the Islamic Center of Detroit (ICD) are launching a special fundraising campaign. Your generous donations will help us continue our essential services, educational programs, and support for those in need.
