The fact that you are here today, reading this message, means that you are someone who sees potential, recognizes opportunity, and believes in the power of something truly great.

You are someone who has witnessed with your own eyes the countless lives impacted every day through the Islamic Society of Baltimore and the Al-Rahmah Quran Academy.

The fact that YOU are here means that Allah (SWT) has blessed you, chosen you, and given you the opportunity to be part of something meaningful and lasting.

Over 20 years ago, Al-Rahmah Quran Academy began its journey. Since then, hundreds of students have completed the memorization of the Holy Qur’an by heart. Alhamdulillah, year after year, that number continues to grow.

For more than 50 years, the Islamic Society of Baltimore has served as a place where Muslims in America can strengthen their faith, find community, and build a strong Islamic foundation. Thousands of people of all ages have walked through the doors of ISB and gone on to become professionals, parents, Imams, teachers, doctors, community leaders, and model citizens.

When you support your masjid, you support its services, its education, and its people.

Your support helps families facing hardship. It helps provide vital services such as Janazah services. It gives our community access to scholarships and helps provide Islamic education for children and adults.

Your support helps us build bridges through interfaith events, welcome new Muslims into our community, and help them grow stronger in their deen.

This is how we strengthen a community—from its roots.

The legacy of a community is built through religious services, education, and the knowledge that when times are difficult, the masjid will be there for us.

And it is your support—the support of our community—that makes this possible, by the will of Allah (SWT).

YOU are here today because YOU want to make sure this good work continues—not only today, but 50 years from now.

You are grateful that Allah (SWT) has blessed us with the opportunity to carry this legacy forward.

You are humbled that Allah has allowed you to give for His sake, knowing that tomorrow is never promised.

So today, let us give to the Al-Rahmah Quran Academy and do our part to preserve the legacy of Islam in America.

Let us give to preserve the Qur’an in the hearts of our children and our community.

Let us give as an expression of our gratitude to Allah (SWT) for blessing us with Islam, with community, and with the opportunity to be part of this beautiful legacy.
