Masjid Darussalam

With the growing number of Muslim families in Fort Wayne, UEF seized the opportunity to expand the masjid’s footprint to better serve the community.

The Masjid DaruSsalam project features a 28,000-square-foot facility that includes essential amenities such as a dedicated prayer hall for men and women, sections for parents with children, and a gymnasium. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to accommodate 1,000 worshippers at a time. 

The existing UEF masjid will remain adjacent and seamlessly connected to the newly built Masjid Darussalam. Preserving the original structure serves as a reminder for future generations of how UEF took root in the Fort Wayne community. Additionally, it will continue to function as the primary building for the Islamic Sunday School.
