As-Salamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

Islamic Center of McLean County has started the final phase of our project. We need your help and support to reach our goal to build the Masjid Musallah, In Sha Allah.

The reward for building a Masjid: “Whatever good you send before you; you will certainly find it with Allah (SWT) better and greater in reward” - Quran

We humbly request your generous support in helping us raise the required funds for the construction of Allah’s house. In Sha Allah, this will be the first exclusive mosque in Bloomington-Normal (small twin cities 2 hours south of Chicago). Islamic Center of McLean County has started phase 3 of our project of Masjid construction on April 2024. We ask Allah azzawajal to remove all obstacles and make the process smooth and on time.

The total cost of the project will be above $2.1 million dollars, of which $1.6 million dollars has been raised within the local community. We have made payments of about $1.6 million dollars to the builder. We have 2 more payments to make to finish the construction of about $450K. As per schedule, construction will finish by End of October 2024. We are short of payment about $384K to the builders and 60K for the sound system, security system and landscaping.

Please donate as much as possible and as soon as possible for the sake of Allah SWT. For sure Allah SWT will return you with multiples.

Allah SWT says in the Quran,

قُلْ إِنَّ رَبِّي يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُ ۚ وَمَا أَنفَقْتُم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ يُخْلِفُهُ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ - 34:39

Say, “ Surely, my Lord extends provision for whomsoever He wills, and straitens (it) for him. And whatever thing you spend, He replaces it, and He is the best of the sustainers

In the books of Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, our beloved Messenger of Allah, Muhammad  ﷺ‎ is narrated by Uthman bin Affa'an, to have said: 

عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا لِلَّهِ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِثْلَهُ

"Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”
