As Salamu Alaikum Friends,
Hope this message finds you in the best of your health and Imaan!
We're collecting funds for our masjid, Masjid Al Rahman located in Cumming,GA. We have outgrown our current facility and face challenges with parking, space for youth and space for women. We've had to arrange 3-4 Jummuah to accomodate our growing community. Women are cramped up in small space especially during Ramadan. Our children and youth need space like a gym where they can play and socialize while also staying connected with the house of Allah(swt).
We have a unique opportunity to purchase land right across our current location. Masjid has placed a contract for 2.9M and we need to close by August 31st, 2026.
Once the new masjid is built, we plan to convert the existing building to a full time Islamic school, In Sha Allah.
Our family are regular congregants at this masjid, we volunteer here and are very much connected to the community. Our children also attend Sunday school at this masjid .
So this is very personal to me and hence I'm personally requesting for your kind donations towards this project.
