Islamic Center of Vernon is a Mosque and an educational non-profit organization located conveniently right at Root 83 in the city of Vernon, Connecticut. Since our establishment in 2003, we continue to be dedicated to providing traditional Islamic education and community services. Our services provide Muslims with the support and knowledge they need and deserve in a nurturing and understanding environment. We encourage our community members to become strong, knowledgeable members of the community so that they will make positive contributions to our faith and society as a whole.

Our community has multiplied, and as a result, we have outgrown our current masjid.

Alhamdulillah, The Islamic Center of Vernon has the opportunity of purchasing this building located at 295 Talcottville Road, Vernon, CT 06066. 

Good looking, open floor plan building located on a 2.73-acre lot on highly traveled Route 83. 3 levels make up this nearly 15,000-square-foot building. The Building has a large first floor with two staircases to a large open second-floor space. Walk out lower level is approximately another 5,000 square feet. With a 2.73-acre corner lot, this building offers a ton of flexibility. 

This is an excellent location for our future Masjid, and we need help from our community to purchase this building. Not only are we purchasing this building to acquire more space, but we are also investing in the future of our families and children.

مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ أَضْعَافًا كَثِيرَةً ۚ
Who is He that will lend to Allah a goodly loan so that He may multiply it to him many times.

The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever builds a masjid for  the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” (Bukhari & Muslim)
